Wilkes County 4-H Gearing Up For Summer Fun!!!
The Wilkes County 4-H is excited to let all its supporters, participants, and volunteers the summer planning is in the works!!!! The Wilkes County 4-H Afterschool will once again be offering its Summer Day Camp. This year's program will begin on Monday, June 22nd, and run through Friday, August 14th. Student's enrolled will enjoy a wide variety of activities including weekly field trips, cooking projects, and swimming three times per week. The 4-H program will also be offering its ReCharge 4-Health program, which is a comprehensive health and well being program for middle school youth who are looking to make a positive, healthy lifestyle change. The program focuses on learning and developing healthy lifestyle habits through hands on cooking projects and physical activities. The program will begin on Tuesday, June 30th and run through August 13th. As always the 4-H program will also offer its special interest workshops throughout the summer.
